Mopco was able to overcome all the challenges and difficulties to move to the modern specifications of the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System, the ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System, the ISO 45001: 2018 Safety Management System and the ISO 50001: 2018 Energy Management System to become MOPCO one of the leading companies in the application of these systems. Which reinforces its position as a leading company in the field of fertilizers industry.

From the beginning and before the establishment of the factories, the company paid great attention to the environment, which was reflected in the environmental impact assessment study carried out by the major consulting firms in this field, and then entrusted the establishment of factories to the German company Oda, which completed the matter with modern technology, environmentally friendly and with a low emission rate.

Then the company, two years before the establishment of the factories, launched an environmental compliance plan with the Environmental Affairs Agency, as an initiative by the company to enhance its leadership in the use of environmental protection technology, which resulted in MOPCO as the first company in the petrochemical sector to establish a continuous environmental monitoring system for urea pellet chimney emissions and emissions. The work environment and linking it with the national network for monitoring industrial emissions in the Environmental Affairs Agency.

Achievements in the field of the environment are continuing, and MOPCO buys the latest environmental monitoring station to monitor ambient air pollutants, which the company donated to the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency to install them in Damietta, in order to reinforce the company's pioneering role in the fields of sustainability, community development, air quality preservation and environmental protection.

Rather, the company was on a date with the completion of the integrated environmental monitoring system by purchasing the latest monitoring systems for boiler emissions and the first axis to connect it directly with the national network for monitoring industrial emissions with the Environmental Affairs Agency. As a result, MOPCO will be in direct contact with its nine chimneys with the EEAA.

Also, MOPCO has its distinguished programs in managing non-hazardous solid waste, hazardous industrial waste and medical waste, which significantly demonstrates the hierarchical methodology for waste management.

In line with our ambitious goals, especially the preservation of natural resources, especially water, we have completed the establishment of the ZLD Industrial Unit for the final disposal of industrial wastewater through treatment and recovery, in addition to the economic return. From water recycling and recycling.

The company did not stop at this point of preserving the environment, but extended to building partnerships with government agencies and institutes in the fields of environmental monitoring and calibration, as well as studied partnerships with accredited companies in the fields of waste recycling and final and environmentally safe disposal.
